Strategy < > Lofty Goals
Constantinos Markides's post this morning communicates a truth that some people seem to have forgotten. I will highlight their summary, "Most companies communicate strategy as a set of aspirations and platitudes. But aspirations aren't strategy, and that mode of communication leaves employees in the dark. Strategy is a set of hard-to-reverse choices and explaining what these choices are and why they were made is what strategy communication should be." For the fleshed out details, be sure to read or listen to more at Harvard Business Review: Don't Confuse Strategy with Lofty Goals

S...SOLD!
You get to blast the music twice for this highlight. "AffiniPay, best known around legal industry parts as LawPay's parent institution, announced this morning that it will acquire law practice management company MyCase." and "TCDI, a leading provider of legal services, software and cybersecurity, today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire global professional services firm Aon's eDiscovery practice." A quick warning though, Joe Patrice's piece will make you hungry. Read more at:

Here is something unique!
Serving a temporary restraining order via non-fungible token is a very novel approach! Kudos to Andrew Balthazor of Holland & Knight and his team who came up with the idea. Andrew says, "This gives us one mechanism to at least serve legal process on a person who controls an address that's involved with the virtual currency that was affected." Don't bite your laptop
According to Freshworks, "94 percent of UK staff are frustrated by inadequate workplace tech, and many are considering resigning because of it." I'm not sure how that translates to the US and other areas of the world, but I would assume the numbers are comparable. "Its research found that the majority (56 percent) of employees say poor tech causes them to feel stressed. But even worse is the number of staff who say that they are willing to leave because of it - more than one in ten (11 percent) say this makes them want to leave their job." Be sure to be on your tech game as you read more at Silicon: One In Ten Staff Want To Leave Over Tech Frustrations, Says Freshworks
